The Mercury Accounts dashboard is the starting point for every action in the system. It’s where you manage your organization, control who has access to what, and configure the products your team uses.
Think of this dashboard as a control panel, not a workspace. Day-to-day hiring or accounting work happens inside individual product modules — this dashboard is where you configure everything that powers them.

What you see after login

After a successful login, you land directly on the dashboard. The layout is consistent across every screen:
  • A left-side navigation menu lists every core module.
  • The main view opens whichever module you select.
  • Your profile and organization switcher sits in the top corner.

Main sections

Each item in the left menu opens a dedicated module. Here’s what each one does:

Dashboard

Overview of account activity, key metrics, and recent changes across your organization.

User Management

Add, remove, and manage the people who can access your Mercury workspace.

Roles & Permissions

Control exactly what each user can see and do, down to individual modules and actions.

Organization Management

Manage company details, structure, branding, and contact information.

Subscription & Billing

View your current plan, update payment methods, and manage subscriptions.

Integrations Hub

Connect Mercury to external tools, services, and data sources.

How to use the dashboard

1

Pick a module

Click any item in the left menu to switch context. Each module opens in the main view without leaving the dashboard.
2

Take action inside the module

All actions — adding a user, changing a role, updating billing — happen within the module you’ve opened.
3

Switch as needed

Move between modules freely. Your unsaved work in one module is preserved as long as you don’t close the browser tab.

How to think about it

Mercury Accounts is your control plane. Mercury Recruit (and other products) are your workspaces.
  • Use Accounts to manage who can do what.
  • Use product modules like Recruit to actually do the hiring work.
Most day-to-day operations happen inside specific products. You’ll come back to the Accounts dashboard whenever you need to:
  • Add or remove a teammate
  • Change someone’s permissions
  • Update billing or subscription details
  • Connect a new integration
  • Adjust organization-wide settings

What to be careful about

Because this dashboard controls organization-wide settings, changes here have immediate, broad impact:
  • Changing roles or permissions affects user access immediately. A demoted user loses access the next time they refresh.
  • Updating organization or billing settings impacts the entire account, including invoices and candidate-facing branding.
  • Misconfigurations here affect all users, not just you. Always double-check before saving destructive changes.
